GOD’S FEAST FOR THE NATIONS
(week 29/14)
OLUBI JOHNSON

Isaiah 25:6-7 NIV: On this mountain the LORD Almighty will prepare a feast of rich food for all peoples, a banquet of aged wine— the best of meats and the finest of wines.  (7) On this mountain he will destroy the shroud that enfolds all peoples, the sheet that covers all nations;

Here, the scripture reveals to us that God is preparing a feast for all nations: a feast of the wisdom and power of God that will remove the shroud or sheet of sorcery that hitherto has blinded all nations to the truth of God’s Word:

2 Corinthians 4:3-4 NIV: And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing.  (4) The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.

Galatians 3:1 NKJV: O foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you that you should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ was clearly portrayed among you as crucified?

Revelation 18:23 NKJV: The light of a lamp shall not shine in you anymore, and the voice of bridegroom and bride shall not be heard in you anymore. For your merchants were the great men of the earth, for by your sorcery all the nations were deceived.

This feast is also spoken of prophetically and symbolically in:

Proverbs 9:1-12 NKJV: Wisdom has built her house, She has hewn out her seven pillars;  (2)  She has slaughtered her meat, She has mixed her wine, She has also furnished her table.  (3)  She has sent out her maidens, She cries out from the highest places of the city,  (4)  “Whoever is simple, let him turn in here!” As for him who lacks understanding, she says to him,  (5)  “Come, eat of my bread And drink of the wine I have mixed.  (6) Forsake foolishness and live, And go in the way of understanding.  (7)  “He who corrects a scoffer gets shame for himself, And he who rebukes a wicked man only harms himself.  (8) Do not correct a scoffer, lest he hate you; Rebuke a wise man, and he will love you.  (9) Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be still wiser; Teach a just man, and he will increase in learning.  (10)  “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.  (11)  For by me your days will be multiplied, And years of life will be added to you.  (12) If you are wise, you are wise for yourself, And if you scoff, you will bear it alone.”

As the people of the nations partake of this feast, their minds will become open to spiritual truth and they will experience the blessings in

Psalms 144:12-15 NKJV: That our sons may be as plants grown up in their youth; That our daughters may be as pillars, Sculptured in palace style;  (13) That our barns may be full, Supplying all kinds of produce; That our sheep may bring forth thousands And ten thousands in our fields;  (14)  That our oxen may be well laden; That there be no breaking in or going out; That there be no outcry in our streets.  (15) Happy are the people who are in such a state; Happy are the people whose God is the LORD!

Nigeria, the physical nation beyond the rivers of Ethiopia which the rivers divide (Is. 18.1,7) from which the first of the first fruits of the perfect Zion church (Zeph. 3.10-20) is emerging will be the FIRST nation to partake of this feast and its blessings in fulness.

We know this, because the 2nd heavens (2 Cor. 13.1) over Nigeria are presently being shaken by a spiritual bombardment from the 3rd heavens through the prayers of the Zion church, when the warfare over Nigeria INTENSIFIED at the start of the 4 blood moon tetrad in on April 15 2014, when over 250 school girls were abducted by Boko Haram, an extreme Islamic terrorist sect.

How then do we as individuals partake of this feast?

By fasting, praying and watching:

Joel 2:1-2 NKJV: Blow the trumpet in Zion, And sound an alarm in My holy mountain! Let all the inhabitants of the land tremble; For the day of the LORD is coming, For it is at hand:  (2) A day of darkness and gloominess, A day of clouds and thick darkness, Like the morning clouds spread over the mountains. A people come, great and strong, the like of whom has never been; Nor will there ever be any such after them, Even for many successive generations.

Joel 2:10-13 NKJV: The earth quakes before them, The heavens tremble; The sun and moon grow dark, And the stars diminish their brightness.  (11)  The LORD gives voice before His army, For His camp is very great; For strong is the One who executes His word. For the day of the LORD is great and very terrible; Who can endure it?  (12)  “Now, therefore,” says the LORD, “Turn to Me with all your heart, With fasting, with weeping, and with mourning.”  (13) So rend your heart, and not your garments; Return to the LORD your God, For He is gracious and merciful, Slow to anger, and of great kindness; And He relents from doing harm.

As we respond to God with living a fasted life and prayer, we will begin to partake of the ‘grain’ and ‘wine’ of His feast:

Joel 2:19 NKJV: The LORD will answer and say to His people, “Behold, I will send you grain and new wine and oil, And you will be satisfied by them; I will no longer make you a reproach among the nations.

Now, God will START this feast with His children in Zion: the perfect church.

Joel 2:23-27 NKJV: Be glad then, you CHILDREN OF ZION, And rejoice in the LORD your God; For He has given you the former rain faithfully, And He will cause the rain to come down for you— The former rain, And the latter rain in the first month.  (24) The threshing floors shall be full of wheat, And the vats shall overflow with new wine and oil.  (25)  “So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the crawling locust, the consuming locust, and the chewing locust, My great army which I sent among you.  (26) You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied, and praise the name of the LORD your God, Who has dealt wondrously with you; and My people shall never be put to shame.  (27) Then you shall know that I am in the midst of Israel: I am the LORD your God and there is no other. My people shall never be put to shame.

AFTER feast has started in Zion it will then be spread to ALL nations:

Joel 2:28-32 NKJV:  “And it shall come to pass AFTERWARD That I will pour out My Spirit on ALL FLESH; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your old men shall dream dreams, Your young men shall see visions.  (29) And also on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days.  (30)  “And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth: Blood and fire and pillars of smoke.  (31)  The sun shall be turned into darkness, And the moon into blood, Before the coming of the great and awesome day of the LORD.  (32) And it shall come to pass that whoever calls on the name of the LORD Shall be saved. For in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there shall be deliverance, as the LORD has said, among the remnant whom the LORD calls.

Isaiah 2:2-4 NKJV: Now it shall come to pass in the latter days That the mountain of the LORD’s house Shall be established on the top of the mountains, And shall be exalted above the hills; And ALL NATIONS shall flow to it.  (3) Many people shall come and say, “Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, To the house of the God of Jacob; He will teach us His ways, And we shall walk in His paths.” For out of Zion shall go forth the law, And the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.  (4) He shall judge between the nations, And rebuke many people; They shall beat their swords into plowshares, And their spears into pruning hooks; Nation shall not lift up sword against nation, Neither shall they learn war anymore.
