MANIFESTING DAVID’S DYNASTY
(week 23/13)
OLUBI JOHNSON

God promised David to raise a dynasty of spiritual King’s through Him whose throne would be established forever.

2 Samuel 7:12 KJV: And when thy days be fulfilled, and thou shalt sleep with thy fathers, I will set up thy seed after thee, which shall proceed out of thy bowels, and I will establish his kingdom.

2 Samuel 7:16 KJV: And thine house and thy kingdom shall be established for ever before thee: thy throne shall be established for ever.

This was because God knew that some of the men of the physical dynasty, like Solomon (1 Kgs. 11:1-11) would not fulfill His conditions.

Moreover, what made God chose David was the spiritual quality of his heart: a heart of honesty and humility that would do ALL of God’s will.

Acts 13:22 KJV: And when he had removed him, he raised up unto them David to be their king; to whom also he gave testimony, and said, I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart, which shall fulfil all my will.

Acts 13:23 KJV: Of this man’s seed hath God according to his promise raised unto Israel a Saviour, Jesus:

So, God decided to set up a spiritual dynasty for David through the Lord Jesus that would of course include any of his physical seed who fulfilled the spiritual conditions.

Luke 1:31-32 KJV: and, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS.  (32) He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David:

Now through the Lord Jesus, we can now partake of the spiritual dynasty of David and operate as spiritual Kings from David’s throne:

Revelation 1:5-6 KJV: And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,  (6) And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

Revelation 3:21 KJV: To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.

So any Christian who overcomes the sin-nature in the soul: will, mind and emotions; and body by developing a David heart of honesty and humility will operate as a spiritual King of David’s dynasty as promised by God to David through Christ.

In this 3rd day, God has been raising up spiritual Kings of the dynasty of David, but the time of their manifestation is imminent.

Why?

They are to manifest the power of God to this generation and their children who are yet to be born and so disciple the nations: every tribe, tongue and kindred to close this age.

Psalms 71:18 NKJV: Now also when I am old and grayheaded, O God, do not forsake me, Until I declare Your strength to this generation, Your power to everyone who is to come.

Psalms 22:30-31 AMP: Posterity shall serve Him; they shall tell of the Lord to the next generation.  (31) They shall come and shall declare His righteousness to a people yet to be born–that He has done it [that it is finished]! [John 19:30.]

The governmental anointing they will manifest will be a foretaste of the millennial kingdom to come:

Hebrews 6:5 NKJV: and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come,

We will manifest as spiritual Kings of the Davidic dynasty IF we grow up into Christ in all things (Eph.4:15) by speaking the truth in love using the blood (Heb.13:20-21), the Word (1 Jn. 2:5-6) and the Spirit (1 Jn. 4:12-13) to operate the 7 pillars of wisdom.

As spiritual Kings of the Davidic dynasty, we will have 3 distinguishing features:

1. Our words will contain the power of the Spirit without measure to produce instant (0-24hrs) manifestations of God’s power on a consistent basis like it was with the Lord Jesus (Jn.2:11, Mk. 11:13-21; Jn. 11:40-44).

Ecclesiastes 8:4 NKJV:  Where the word of a king is, there is power; And who may say to him, “What are you doing?”

2. We will be able to overcome ALL evil thoughts and enforce the dominion of God in our circumstances by directing with our thoughts the power of God we have previously released into the air through our words.

Proverbs 20:8 MKJV: A king who sits in the throne of judgment scatters away all evil with his eyes.

3. We will by the wisdom of God through the ability of the mind of Christ search out truth that has been hidden both in scripture as well as in the natural creation. These intellectual miracles and the hidden wisdom they give us will bring great wealth to us that will be used to establish God’s covenant on the earth: to disciple the nations and close the age.

Proverbs 25:2 MKJV: The glory of God is to hide a thing; but the honor of kings is to search out a matter.

Isaiah 45:3 AMP: And I will give you the treasures of darkness and hidden riches of secret places, that you may know that it is I, the Lord, the God of Israel, Who calls you by your name.

So, now it is crucial to accelerate our spiritual growth so as to inherit our individual portion of the dynasty of David.
