POWER, KINGDOM AND GLORY
(week 39/13)

Matthew 6:13 KJV: And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

Here in is what we call the Lord’s Prayer, the Lord Jesus reveals that the Kingdom, power and glory belong to God forever.

However, God wants to reveal His power, kingdom and glory through His church in this 3rd day.

What then are the power, kingdom and glory of God?

The power of God is released when we speak God’s Word with a heart full of the life of God.

The life of God in our spirits act as ‘fuel’ or ‘diesel’ which the ‘generator’ of the power of Holy Spirit converts to power released through our mouths when we speak God’s Word both in the understanding (1 Cor. 14:14-15) and in the Spirit (1 Cor. 14:2): tongues (Act. 2:4) and groanings (Rom. 8:26, Gal. 4:19, Heb. 5:7-9).

The Greek Word for life is Zoë; but the Greek Word for power is dunamis from which we get the English word dynamo: a generator of power.

When we get born-again, we receive Zoe into our spirits (1 Jn. 5:11-13) by the power of Holy Spirit (Jn. 3.3-8, Rom. 8.9); however, we receive a greater measure of the power of the Holy Spirit when we get baptised in the Holy Spirit and speak tongues:

Acts 1:8 KJV: But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

This greater measure of the power of the Holy Spirit enables us to release a greater measure of the power when we speak God’s Word and pray in tongues and groanings.

It is this power of the Holy Spirit that empowers to walk in love and all the fruit of the Spirit, soundness of mind, healing and health and to perform miracles.

Paul summarizes this in

2 Timothy 1:7 AMP: For God did not give us a spirit of timidity (of cowardice, of craven and cringing and fawning fear), but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of calm and well-balanced mind and discipline and self-control.

Now, we are to use this power to enforce the Kingdom (dominion) of God (righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit (Rom. 14:17)) in our souls: wills, minds and emotions; and physical bodies.

Matthew 11:12 MKJV: And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of Heaven is taken by violence, and the violent take it by force.

Luke 17:20-21 NIV: Once, having been asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, Jesus replied, “The kingdom of God does not come with your careful observation, (21) nor will people say, ‘Here it is,’ or ‘There it is,’ because the kingdom of God is within you.”

Observe that the Kingdom of God: the dominion of righteousness: right-doing; peace and joy in the Holy Spirit comes firstly internally: in the will, mind, emotions and physical body.

In fact, until it has come internally to a significant degree (over 70% dominion (Mk. 4:20)) God will not allow it to manifest externally in works of power like healings, deliverance and great miracles manifesting the glory of God.

The Lord Jesus shows us this in

Matthew 12:28-29 NKJV: But if I cast out demons by the Spirit of God, surely the kingdom of God has come upon you.  (29) Or how can one enter a strong man’s house and plunder his goods, unless he first binds the strong man? And then he will plunder his house.

Here the Lord Jesus implies that it is because He had bound or overcome Satan the strong man internally in His soul and body that He was able to plunder his (Satan’s) house externally by casting out devils, healing the sick and performing great miracles: raising the dead: manifesting the glory of God (Jn. 11:4, 40-44).

So, it is the power of the Holy Spirit, that enables us to experience the Kingdom of God within us and when the Kingdom is operating within then we will be entrusted with manifesting the glory externally.

So let us use the power of the Holy Spirit through the spoken Word and praying in tongues and groanings to efficiently transform the life of God in our spirits into power in our souls and bodies to enforce the Kingdom and then manifest His glory externally in this 3rd. day!
