DIVINE SUPPLY
(39/11)

Philippians 4:19 KJV: But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Here, God the Holy Spirit tells us through Paul that God will supply all of our needs (if we habitually give our tithes and offerings (Mal. 3:10-12; 2 Cor.9:6-9)).

3John 1:2 KJV: Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.

God will also give us the desires of our hearts but only to the degree that we delight in Him:

Psalms 37:4 KJV: Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.

3John 1:2 KJV: Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.

Why does God supply our needs and give us our heart’s desires?

Because He loves us more than we love our natural children:

Matthew 7:11KJV: If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?

Matthew 6:31-33 KJV: Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?  (32)  (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.  (33) But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

It is God’s perfect will (2 Cor. 8:9; 9:8) that we prosper as our souls prosper (3 Jn. 2) and enjoy all things richly in this lifetime (Mk. 10.30) because He loves us so much!

Now, how does God supply our needs and give us the desires of our hearts?

By the supply of the Spirit that releases the riches of His glory into physical manifestation to meet our physical needs.

Philippians 1:19KJV:  For, I know that this shall turn to my salvation through your prayer, and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ,

What are the riches in glory?

These are riches of the knowledge, understanding, wisdom, power, ability and favour of God that are in glory: in the spiritual realm.

Colossians 2:2-3 KJV: That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ;  (3) In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

True riches are not just physical and financial wealth: true riches are the knowledge, understanding, wisdom, power ability and the favour of God that will then enable you to get material and financial wealth:

Proverbs 8:10-12 KJV: Receive my instruction, and not silver; and knowledge rather than choice gold.  (11) For wisdom is better than rubies; and all the things that may be desired are not to be compared to it.  (12) I wisdom dwell with prudence, and find out knowledge of witty inventions.

Proverbs 8:18-21 KJV: Riches and honour are with me; yea, durable riches and righteousness.  (19) My fruit is better than gold, yea, than fine gold; and my revenue than choice silver.  (20) I lead in the way of righteousness, in the midst of the paths of judgment:  (21) that I may cause those that love me to inherit substance; and I will fill their treasures.

Proverbs 22:1 KJV: A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches, and loving favour rather than silver and gold.

When we pray, the power of the Holy Spirit is released to give the necessary knowledge, understanding, wisdom, ability, skill, divine guidance and favour upon us and people and groups of people God will be using to bless us physically and materially; God will then cause our paths to intersect and the physical transaction to take place that will supply our needs and the desires of our hearts.

So, God by His love, wisdom and power through our prayers and the ministry of angels (Dan. 4:32; 9:21-22) rules in the affairs of men to supply our needs and the desires of our hearts.
