RULING WITH DILIGENCE
(week 24/16)
OLUBI JOHNSON

In our article last week we saw what we need to be doing NOW to hasten the MANIFESTATION of the power of the Spirit without measure by using the blood (Heb.13.20-21, 1 Jn.1.7-10), the Word (1 Jn.2.5, 2 Peter. 1.4) and the praying in tongues and travail (1 Cor. 14.2, Eph.6.12-18, Rom.8.26) to walk in love and united prayer in the Spirit so as to REMAIN humble and have the wisdom of God to enforce the Kingdom AFTER the manifestation of the power of the Spirit WITHOUT MEASURE takes place.

This week, we will see how to rule (enforce the Kingdom: God’s TOTAL dominion) spiritually with diligence.

Romans 12:8 KJV:  Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that giveth, let him do it with simplicity; he that RULETH, with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness.

Here the scriptures instruct us to rule with diligence.

The Word rule here means to exercise dominion like kings or rulers do in their domain of authority.

It is this same thought that is expressed in

Psalms 110:1-2 KJV:  A Psalm of David. The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool. (2) The LORD shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: RULE thou in the midst of thine enemies.

Here the Holy Spirit speaks prophetically through David to the church of the Lord Jesus Christ AFTER his resurrection and ascension to the right hand of the Father (Heb.1.3): that the Church should make our enemies (Satan and his cohorts (Eph.6.12)) our footstools (symbolizing TOTAL dominion over them) by ruling in their midst by the rod of God’s strength out of Zion (the perfect church).

1Timothy 3:4-5 AMP:  He must RULE his own household well, keeping his children under control, with true dignity, commanding their respect in every way and keeping them respectful. (5)  For if a man does not know how to RULE his own household, how is he to take care of the church of God?

Here the Holy Spirit through Paul tells us that a Bishop or Pastor must rule (spiritually) his own of household (possibly about 5-10 people (Dt.1.15): wife and children) so having his children in subjection (to the control of the power of the Holy Spirit for good conduct) with all dignity; because if he cannot do so for his household (5-10 people), how can he generate and release enough of the power of God to control a church (hundreds or thousands of people (Dt.1.15))?

So ruling spiritually means enforcing the Kingdom of God by the power of the Holy Spirit:

Romans 14:17 KJV:  for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

We ENFORCE (making it easy for them to do right without violating their free will) righteousness (right conduct), peace and joy by the power of the Holy Spirit from the air (Eph.2.2) upon people in our sphere of influence VIOLENTLY through spiritual warfare taking over Satan’s dominion in the air.

In our article next week we will see how to do this in more detail.
