PRAYING WITH YOUR THOUGHTS
(week 10/15)

1Thessalonians 5:16-18 NKJV: Rejoice always,  (17) pray without ceasing,  (18) in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

Luke 21:36 NKJV: Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man.”

Philippians 4:6-7 NKJV: Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;  (7) and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Here, the scriptures instruct us to pray without ceasing.

Why?

God wants us to pray without ceasing so we can develop intimacy with the Holy Spirit and be sensitive to Him and so bring Him pleasure through our fellowship with Him. In fact, this is the original reason for our creation, to fellowship with Him and so bring Him pleasure.

Revelation 4:11 KJV: Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.

2Corinthians 13:14 AMP: The grace (favor and spiritual blessing) of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the presence and fellowship (the communion and sharing together, and participation) in the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen (so be it).

Can we pray 24 hours a day?

If so, how can this be done when we have other legitimate things we must do?

We can PRACTICALLY pray without ceasing by SYNERGISING our concentrated prayers with our words, tongues and travail and directing the power we release in concentrated prayer with our thoughts consistently during our conscious hours. in every temptation by acknowledging the Lord for mercy to overcome the temptation with thanksgiving (Phil .4.6-7) and the Lord putting thoughts into our minds while are sleeping.

Observe in doing this, you will be doing EACH DAY about 3-4 hours of concentrated prayer, coupled with bible reading and study which will then be the FOUNDATION for effective praying with your thoughts THROUGHOUT THE REST OF THE DAY: about 12-15 conscious hours during which you will be constantly communing with God with your thoughts during the activities, challenges and temptations that you will face each day (Mt.6:34).
