In our article last week, we saw that there is a difference between being a child of God (‘teknon’ in Greek) and becoming a Son of God (‘uihos’ in Greek).
A Son of God is one who is spiritually mature and is a spiritual young man: prince or spiritual father: King.
To be a Son of God in the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ, we must grow even after become a ‘uihos’ from young manhood: from being a prince to fatherhood: becoming a spiritual King in Christ.
It is necessary NOW that God’s children grow into Sons because it is ONLY sons that can fulfill the legal requirements to close this age.
How then do we grow from children to Sons?
By the blood (Heb. 13.20-21), the Word (1 Jn.2.5) and the Spirit (1 Jn. 4.12-13).
In particular, we use the Word of God to perfect the love of God in us:
Ephesians 4:15 KJV: But speaking the truth in love, may GROW up into HIM in ALL things, which is the head, even CHRIST:
Then we pray with all kinds of prayer in the Spirit (Eph. 6.18) and travail as a DAILY habit (Lk. 9.23, Heb. 5.7) for the Christ nature to be formed or established in our souls: wills, minds and emotions and bodies.
Galatians 4:19 KJV: My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you,
Galatians 4:19 AMP: My little children, for whom I am again suffering birth pangs until Christ is completely and permanently formed (molded) within you,
After (NOT BEFORE!) Christ has been formed in our wills, emotions and bodies: ensuring that God’s character of love, righteousness and justice has been PERMANENTLY established in our wills and emotions that God, like He did with Adam in the Garden of Eden, will breath into and upon us the Spirit without measure, giving us the ability of the mind of Christ and so CONSUMMATING the saving of our souls (our spirits are already saved) (1 Pet.1.9; Jam. 1.21)!
Genesis 2:7 KJV: And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
So we will be birthed as Sons SUDDENLY, IN AN INSTANT, like Adam was, fulfilling:
Isaiah 66:8 KJV: Who hath heard such a thing? Who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in ONE DAY? or shall a nation be BORN AT ONCE? For as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children.
Observe that the forming of Christ in us by travailing prayer is GRADUAL, but the manifestation of us as Sons will be in ONE DAY SUDDENLY:
Malachi 3:1-3 KJV: Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall SUDDENLY come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the LORD of hosts. (2) But who may abide the day of his coming? And who shall stand when he appeareth? For he is like a refiner’s fire, and like fullers’ soap: (3) And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the LORD an offering in righteousness.
It will be similar to coming of the Holy Spirit in
Acts 2:1-4 KJV: And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. (2) And SUDDENLY there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. (3) And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. (4) And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
This same truth is typified in the instant birthing of Ezekiel’s army in
Ezekiel 37:8-11 KJV: And when I beheld, lo, the sinews and the flesh came up upon them, and the skin covered them above: but there was no breath in them. (9) Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live. (10) So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army. (11) Then he said unto me, Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel: behold, they say, Our bones are dried, and our hope is lost: we are cut off for our parts.
So in this hour, God is about to birth SUDDENLY IN ONE DAY, Sons that will manifest the glory of God and fulness of the ability of the mind Christ demonstrating the manifold wisdom of God (Eph.3.10)!
