BRINGING PEACE TO THE NATIONS
(mr 02/02/18)
OLUBI JOHNSON

These manifested sons of God that will manifest the glory of God will SPIRITUALLY (not politically) rule the nations with a rod of iron (Rev.2.26-27) by removing wicked and unjust political leaders (like Saul, Ahab and Belshazzar) with benevolent and godly leaders (like Cyrus, Esther and Mordecai) as shown in

Psalms 110:1-7 KJV:  Of David. A psalm. The LORD says to my lord: “Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet.” (2)  The LORD will extend your mighty scepter from Zion, saying, “Rule in the midst of your enemies!” (3)  Your troops will be willing on your day of battle. Arrayed in holy splendor, your young men will come to you like dew from the morning’s womb. (4)  The LORD has sworn and will not change his mind: “You are a priest forever, in the order of Melchizedek.” (5)  The Lord is at your right hand; he will crush kings on the day of his wrath. (6)  He will judge the nations, heaping up the dead and crushing the rulers of the whole earth. (7)  He will drink from a brook along the way, and so he will lift his head high.

This vengeance of God (Is.61.2; Job.34.20-30) executed by the man-child church will trigger a universal hatred and persecution of the man-child (Mt. 24.9) and offence and betrayal of many in the church (Mt.24.10-12) as shown in

Psalms 2:1-12 KJV:  Why do the nations conspire and the peoples plot in vain? (2)  The kings of the earth rise up and the rulers band together against the LORD and against his anointed, saying, (3)  “Let us break their chains and throw off their shackles.” (4)  The One enthroned in heaven laughs; the Lord scoffs at them. (5)  He rebukes them in his anger and terrifies them in his wrath, saying, (6)  “I have installed my king on Zion, my holy mountain.” (7)  I will proclaim the LORD’s decree: He said to me, “You are my son; today I have become your father. (8) Ask me, and I will make the nations your inheritance, the ends of the earth your possession. (9)  You will break them with a rod of iron; you will dash them to pieces like pottery.” (10)  Therefore, you kings, be wise; be warned, you rulers of the earth. (11)  Serve the LORD with fear and celebrate his rule with trembling. (12)  Kiss his son, or he will be angry and your way will lead to your destruction, for his wrath can flare up in a moment. Blessed are all who take refuge in him.

The man-child church will overcome this universal persecution and hatred of the church, like Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego overcame Nebuchadnezzar’s fiery furnace (Dan.3.1-29) and so cause all nations to be subdued and feared by the church fulfilling:

Deuteronomy 28:10 KJV:  Then all peoples of the earth shall see that you are called by the name of the LORD, and they shall be afraid of you.

This universal fear or reverence for the Lord in the church will bring a TEMPORARY PEACE to the nations WHILE the man-child is still on the earth UNTIL he is raptured or caught up (2 Th.2.7) to heaven (Rev.12.5) as shown in

Haggai 2:7-9  and I will shake all nations, and they shall come to the Desire of All Nations, and I will fill this temple with glory,’ says the LORD of hosts. (8)  ‘The silver is Mine, and the gold is Mine,’ says the LORD of hosts. (9)  ‘The glory of this latter temple shall be greater than the former,’ says the LORD of hosts. ‘And in this place I will give peace,’ says the LORD of hosts.”

Isaiah 2:2-4 KJV:  And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORD’S house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it. (3)  And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem. (4)  And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.
