Breaking The Nations
(week 32/01)
Olubi Johnson

In our last article we examined “a greater than Solomon”: a prophetic teaching on the perfect end time spiritual temple that will be greater than Solomon. This week we will be examining how God will use this temple that is greater than Solomon to break the Nations.

In this regard, we will examine a prophetic Word that came recently:

Prophecy Sunday Service: 29-07-01 by Pastor Olubi Johnson: Breaking the Nations.

For indeed I’m here in my temple. Yes, this is the day in which the rod of strength doth come out of Zion with which I will break the nations.

For is it not written, have I not said that unto me shall every knee bow. And even in this day, as you seek my face, and as you walk in my ways my strength shall proceed out of your mouth and you will decree a thing and it shall be established.

Yes, my Word will come forth like power, it will come forth like fire and it will burn everything that is not of me, it will consume all unrighteousness, it will consume all iniquity and all nations shall bow at my feet.

Yes, I will break the nations with the rod of iron and my will shall be done and the captives will be set free even my creation that is groaning and waiting for the manifestation of the Sons of God. They will be set free and the longing of their hearts will be met.

For many seek me but they do not know what they seek; many are seeking me, many hearts are crying onto me. For my eyes run to and fro throughout the whole earth seeking them whose hearts are perfect towards me and they are many, many, many, all over the world; but in this day, I will set them free by the rod of my strength that shall come out of thee.

This prophecy tells us that God will send forth out of Zion, which is a type of the perfect 3rd. day Church, which is a temple “greater than Solomon”, a rod of strength that will break the Nations.

Psalms 110:2 (KJV): The LORD shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies.

Revelation 2:26 (KJV): And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations:

Revelation 2:27 (KJV): And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father.

Psalms 2:8-9 (NIV):
Ask of me, and
I will make the nations your inheritance, the ends of the earth your possession. You will rule them with an iron scepter; you will dash them to pieces like pottery.”

Traditional Christian thinking limits the fulfillment of these scriptures to the millennial reign of Christ. However when we realize that during the millennium Satan, who weakens the Nations and causes them to rebel, will be locked in the bottomless pit (Is. 14: 12 and Rev. 20: 2) it becomes obvious that the fulfillment of these scriptures must take place before the millennial reign, which is now.

What does breaking the Nations mean?

Breaking the Nations means forcing them to bow to the will of God, much in the same way God had to break Egypt to release the children of Israel from captivity.

Exodus 3:19-20 (KJV): And I am sure that the king of Egypt will not let you go, no, not by a mighty hand. And I will stretch out my hand, and smite Egypt with all my wonders which I will do in the midst thereof: and after that he will let you go.

According to the scripture above it was the wonders performed by God through Moses that effected the release of God’s people by Pharaoh. Also it is necessary to see that though Pharaoh ultimately bowed to the will of God he never submitted his heart to God.

In the same way today, the perfect endtime Church will perform great signs and wonders in the Nations that will cause them to, as it were, release God’s people within them by allowing the full preaching of the gospel without any hindrances. Also even though this will take place, and everybody will hear and see demonstrated the full gospel of Jesus Christ (Matt. 24:14), not everybody will get born again in these Nations, just like Pharaoh never submitted his heart to God.

In some Nations today, by law it is forbidden to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ. However, by a series of physical, political, economic and environmental miracles by the rod of strength that comes out of the Zion Church, God will break these nations forcing them to allow the full evangelization and discipleship of their people.

How the Nations will be broken

The nations will be broken by physical, political, economic and environmental miracles.

Physical miracles are miracles like healing the sick, raising the dead, cleansing the leper etc.

An example is the healing of Naaman the Syrian who was converted to the worship of Jehovah:

2 Kings 5:14-15 (KJV): Then went he down, and dipped himself seven times in Jordan, according to the saying of the man of God: and his flesh came again like unto the flesh of a little child, and he was clean. And he returned to the man of God, he and all his company, and came, and stood before him: and he said, Behold, now I know that there is no God in all the earth, but in Israel: now therefore, I pray thee, take a blessing of thy servant.

Political miracles are miracles like the judgement and removal of bad leaders to change ungodly laws. An example is the judgement of Nebuchadnezzar and removal of Belshazzar in Babylon:

Daniel 4:31-34 (KJV): While the word was in the king’s mouth, there fell a voice from heaven, saying, O king Nebuchadnezzar, to thee it is spoken; The kingdom is departed from thee. And they shall drive thee from men, and thy dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field: they shall make thee to eat grass as oxen, and seven times shall pass over thee, until thou know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will. The same hour was the thing fulfilled upon Nebuchadnezzar: and he was driven from men, and did eat grass as oxen, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven, till his hairs were grown like eagles’ feathers, and his nails like birds’ claws. And at the end of the days I Nebuchadnezzar lifted up mine eyes unto heaven, and mine understanding returned unto me, and I blessed the most High, and I praised and honoured him that liveth for ever, whose dominion is an everlasting dominion, and his kingdom is from generation to generation:

Daniel 5:22-28 (KJV): And thou his son, O Belshazzar, hast not humbled thine heart, though thou knewest all this; But hast lifted up thyself against the Lord of heaven; and they have brought the vessels of his house before thee, and thou, and thy lords, thy wives, and thy concubines, have drunk wine in them; and thou hast praised the gods of silver, and gold, of brass, iron, wood, and stone, which see not, nor hear, nor know: and the God in whose hand thy breath is, and whose are all thy ways, hast thou not glorified: Then was the part of the hand sent from him; and this writing was written. And this is the writing that was written, MENE, MENE, TEKEL, UPHARSIN. This is the interpretation of the thing: MENE; God hath numbered thy kingdom, and finished it. TEKEL; Thou art weighed in the balances, and art found wanting. PERES; Thy kingdom is divided, and given to the Medes and Persians.

Economic miracles are like the miracle of provision that made food available during the worldwide famine in the days of Joseph:

Genesis 41:56-57 (KJV): And the famine was over all the face of the earth: and Joseph opened all the storehouses, and sold unto the Egyptians; and the famine waxed sore in the land of Egypt. And all countries came into Egypt to Joseph for to buy corn; because that the famine was so sore in all lands.

Environmental miracles are miracles like the withdrawal of rain for three years by Elijah and it’s subsequent restoration by the Word of the prophet:

1Kings 17:1 (KJV): And Elijah the Tishbite, who was of the inhabitants of Gilead, said unto Ahab, As the LORD God of Israel liveth, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word.

1Kings 18:1 (KJV): And it came to pass after many days, that the word of the LORD came to Elijah in the third year, saying, Go, shew thyself unto Ahab; and I will send rain upon the earth.

The challenge to the Church today is to manifest the fullness of the Christ by growing spiritually into the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ by submission to the five-fold ministry and copying the example of Jesus in daily prayer and the fear of God:

Ephesians 4:11-13 (KJV): And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:

Ephesians 4:15 (KJV): But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:

Hebrews 5:7 (KJV): Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared;
