UNITY, LOVE AND POWER

(week 36/16)

OLUBI JOHNSON

We are PRESENTLY expecting the MANIFESTATION OF THE POWER OF THE SPIRIT WITHOUT MEASURE, that was released when the last blood moon of the 2014-2015 tetrad synchronized with the feast of Tabernacles in September 2015 at which time we also entered a year of Jubilee signifying a release of our inheritance (Eph.1.14 vs Col 3.24): the same spirit without measure.

However, just like the Lord Jesus waited for the manifestation of the Spirit during and after the 40-day fasting and praying in the wilderness AFTER the release of the same at His baptism by John (John 1.32-33) and the early church waited for the manifestation of the Holy Spirit BETWEEN the release on the resurrection Sunday (Jn. 20.22) and the manifestation on the day of Pentecost (Act.2.1-4) EVEN SO we now are actively waiting for the MANIFESTATION OF THE SPIRIT WITHOUT MEASURE.

During this time of waiting we are to:

Maintain the unity of the Spirit by ‘washing one another’s feet’: by the forgiveness of sin by the blood (Jn.20.23); asking for life for each other (1 Jn.5.16) and praying for one another frequently  (at least once every 6 hours (Dt.6.7, Mk.13.35) and at every opportunity in tongues and consequently effectively with our thoughts as often as is necessary: 70 times 7 times per person per day (Mt.18.15-20; 21-22; 35)!

Practicing these things will cause us to have the wisdom, compassion and power to walk in love towards another.

As God is able to get a ‘critical mass’ and ‘sample’ of us practicing this DILIGENTLY typified by the number of about 120 disciples in the upper room (Act.1.15) and 100 soldiers in Gideon’s company (which was one-third of the army (Jdg.7.16)), He will synergize the power we are generating and releasing through this unity and love in prayer to release the MANIFESTATION OF THE POWER OF THE SPIRIT WITHOUT MEASURE!

As we practice these things we will be fulfilling:

Ephesians 4:3 KJV:  Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

Psalms 133:1-3 NKJV:  A Song of Ascents. Of David. Behold, how good and how pleasant (2) it is For brethren to dwell together in unity! It is like the precious oil upon the head, Running down on the beard, The beard of Aaron, Running down on the edge of his garments. (3)  It is like the dew of Hermon, Descending upon the mountains of Zion; For there the LORD commanded the blessing— Life forevermore.

Ephesians 4:16 NKJV:  from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.

Ephesians 4:16 MSG:  He keeps us in step with each other. His very breath and blood flow through us, nourishing us so that we will grow up healthy in God, robust in love.

Selah!
