YEAR OF GREAT GRACE AND MIGHTY WORKS 2
(week 02/15)
OLUBI AND SARAH JOHNSON

Last week, we declared prophetically 2015 to be a year of GREAT grace and mighty works as we see the emergence of the manifestation of the sons of God as Joel’s army around the season of the total eclipse and blood moons of this year: March-October 2015.

We also saw that this GREAT GRACE OR DISPENSATION OF FULNESS OF GRACE will only come with AN ATTITUDE OF GREAT HUMILITY THROUGH FASTING AND PRAYER.

In the past, much of our fasting has not been very effective because we fast with the wrong attitudes of pride, criticism and legalism as shown in

Isaiah 58:1-5 NIV:  “Shout it aloud, do not hold back. Raise your voice like a trumpet. Declare to my people their rebellion and to the house of Jacob their sins.  (2) For day after day they seek me out; they seem eager to know my ways, as if they were a nation that does what is right and has not forsaken the commands of its God. They ask me for just decisions and seem eager for God to come near them.  (3)  “Why have we fasted,’ they say, “and you have not seen it? Why have we humbled ourselves, and you have not noticed?’ “Yet on the day of your fasting, you do as you please and exploit all your workers.  (4)  Your fasting ends in quarreling and strife, and in striking each other with wicked fists. You cannot fast as you do today and expect your voice to be heard on high.  (5) Is this the kind of fast I have chosen, only a day for a man to humble himself? Is it only for bowing one’s head like a reed and for lying on sackcloth and ashes? Is that what you call a fast, a day acceptable to the LORD?

The GREAT GRACE AND MIGHTY WORKS OF 2015 will ONLY be seen through fasting and prayer with AN ATTITUDE AND DEEDS OF LOVE AND HUMILITY:

Mark 9:29 NKJV: So He said to them, “This kind can come out by nothing but prayer and fasting.”

Isaiah 58:6-14 NKJV:  Is this not the fast that I have chosen: To loose the bonds of wickedness, To undo the heavy burdens, To let the oppressed go free, And that you break every yoke?  (7)  Is it not to share your bread with the hungry, And that you bring to your house the poor who are cast out; When you see the naked, that you cover him, And not hide yourself from your own flesh?  (8) Then your light shall break forth like the morning, Your healing shall spring forth speedily, And your righteousness shall go before you; The glory of the LORD shall be your rear guard.  (9) Then you shall call, and the LORD will answer; You shall cry, and He will say, ‘Here I am. “If you take away the yoke from your midst, The pointing of the finger, and speaking wickedness,  (10) If you extend your soul to the hungry And satisfy the afflicted soul, Then your light shall dawn in the darkness, And your darkness shall be as the noonday.  (11) The LORD will guide you continually, And satisfy your soul in drought, And strengthen your bones; You shall be like a watered garden, And like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail.  (12) Those from among you shall build the old waste places; You shall raise up the foundations of many generations; And you shall be called the Repairer of the Breach, The Restorer of Streets to Dwell In.  (13)  “If you turn away your foot from the Sabbath, From doing your pleasure on My holy day, And call the Sabbath a delight, The holy day of the LORD honorable, And shall honor Him, not doing your own ways, Nor finding your own pleasure, Nor speaking your own words,  (14) Then you shall delight yourself in the LORD; And I will cause you to ride on the high hills of the earth, And feed you with the heritage of Jacob your father. The mouth of the LORD has spoken.”

The Lord Jesus exemplifies this ATTITUDE of GREAT HUMILITY WITH FASTING THAT PRODUCED MIGHTY WORKS in

Luke 4:1-4 NKJV: Then Jesus, being filled with the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness,  (2)  being tempted for forty days by the devil. And in those days He ate nothing, and afterward, when they had ended, He was hungry.  (3) And the devil said to Him, “If You are the Son of God, command this stone to become bread.”  (4)  But Jesus answered him, saying, “It is written, ‘MAN SHALL NOT LIVE BY BREAD ALONE, BUT BY EVERY WORD OF GOD.’ ”

Luke 4:13-14 NKJV: Now when the devil had ended every temptation, he departed from Him until an opportune time.  (14) THEN JESUS RETURNED IN THE POWER OF THE SPIRIT to Galilee, and news of Him went out through all the surrounding region.

1Peter 5:5-6 NKJV: Likewise you younger people, submit yourselves to your elders. Yes, all of you be submissive to one another, and be clothed with humility, for “GOD RESISTS THE PROUD, BUT GIVES GRACE TO THE HUMBLE.”  (6) Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time,

In the same way in this year of 2015 we through GREAT HUMILITY and FASTING will do MIGHTY WORKS.
