Jeremiah 30:7-10 KJV: Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob’s trouble; but he shall be saved out of it. (8) For it shall come to pass in that day, saith the LORD of hosts, that I will break his yoke from off thy neck, and will burst thy bonds, and strangers shall no more serve themselves of him: (9) But they shall serve the LORD their God, and David their king, whom I will raise up unto them. (10) Therefore fear thou not, O my servant Jacob, saith the LORD; neither be dismayed, O Israel: for, lo, I will save thee from afar, and thy seed from the land of their captivity; and Jacob shall return, and shall be in rest, and be quiet, and none shall make him afraid.

The Church of the Lord Jesus Christ has come into a season of trouble (spiritual tribulation) both within and without, in which God is bringing severe judgments upon the church. This judgment is to act as a CATALYST to galvanise the Church to use the Blood, the Word and the power of the Spirit to learn righteousness unto perfection by cleansing out the sin nature from the soul and body so perfecting the Love of God and overcome spiritual tribulation.

The scripture reveals that it is through much tribulation we enter into the Kingdom (Acts14:22)

Jacob’s trouble speaks of the sin nature and its effect

  1. In the flesh(will, mind, emotions and body. (Rom.8:10,Ps.88:3)

1Corinthians 7:28 KJV: But and if thou marry, thou hast not sinned; and if a virgin marry, she hath not sinned. Nevertheless such shall have trouble in the flesh: but I spare you.

  1. Through the sin nature in the air (1Sam16:14).

Ephesians 2:2-3 KJV: Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience (3) Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.

  1. Through those that trouble Israel Bad leadership and followership in the Church whose hearts have been exercised in covetous practices.(2Pet2:14).
  • SAUL is a type of bad leadership:

1Samuel 14:29 KJV:  Then said Jonathan, My father hath troubled the land: see, I pray you, how mine eyes have been enlightened, because I tasted a little of this honey. (Ahab 1Ki. 18:17-18)

  • ACHAN is a type of bad followership:-

Joshua 7:25 KJV: And Joshua said, Why hast thou troubled us? The LORD shall trouble thee this day. And all Israel stoned him with stones, and burned them with fire, after they had stoned them with stones.

Both types of saints exist with Church of Jesus Christ in this day and they are troubling the Church.

Satan operates through his power in the air (Eph.2:2-3) and it impinges upon the soul, flesh and circumstances of men on the earth, bringing them into subjection.

1Samuel 16:14 KJV: But the Spirit of the LORD departed from Saul, and an evil spirit from the LORD troubled him. (i.e. God permitted it).

This is therefore a time of Jacob’s trouble, but God wants to save Jacob (spirit, soul and body) from the sin nature that troubles him in this time of favour. (Jer.30:7).

1Thessalonians 5:23 KJV:  And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Only those that perfect the love of God will be preserved blameless and therefore counted faithful and worthy to carry and manifest the Spirit without measure, as they change from Jacob to Israel.

Proverbs 25:19 KJV: Confidence in an unfaithful man in time of trouble is like a broken tooth, and a foot out of joint.

Philippians 3:3 KJV: For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.

God is going to remove bad leadership from His Church in this time of Jacob’s trouble:

Job 34:20 KJV: In a moment shall they die, and the people shall be troubled at midnight, and pass away: and the mighty shall be taken away without hand. (Ps.21:8-12; Jer.23:19-24).

Then shall grace and glory dwell in our land, that is, our mind, will and emotions and body that are in spiritual cleansing perfection:

Psalms 85:9 KJV: Surely his salvation is nigh them that fear him; that glory may dwell in our land.

Now, we accomplish this by learning of the Lord Jesus and copying His example under the covering of spiritual fathers who have gone before (Mt.11:28-30; 1Tim.2:1-2; Heb.5:7; Gal.4:19). We take the easy yoke of eternal life (ZOE) and the burden of travailing prayer, praying with all kinds of prayer in the Spirit, using the Blood (Heb.13:20-21) the Word (1Jn. 2:5) and the Spirit (1Jn. 4:12-13) to drive out from our souls, bodies and circumstances the satanic nature and influence and thereby perfect (2Cor.7:1) the love of God.

In this manner, we attain unto the total salvation of our spirits, souls and bodies, even in this time of Jacob’s trouble or, tribulation in the Church of Jesus Christ
