RIGHTEOUSNESS, PURITY AND POWER
(mr 01/09/18)

The Lord has been speaking expressly to His people to stir up the gifts in us and to prepare us for the imminent, second outpouring of the Spirit of God that will come firstly upon the Zion Church as it is written in:

Joel 2:23 KJV: Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the LORD your God: for he hath given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first [month].

This second outpouring of the Spirit is that which will close the last days. The first outpouring occurred on the day of Pentecost in the city of Jerusalem, recorded in the scriptures (Acts 2:1-4). The Holy Spirit fell upon one hundred and twenty disciples in the upper room and triggered off the beginning of the last days. As the last days are now coming to an end, the second outpouring of the Holy Spirit will be greater than the first one because the scripture says:

Haggai 2:9 KJV: The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the LORD of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the LORD of host

The power of the spirit that was poured out then was the earnest of the Holy Spirit (Eph.1:13-14); but the power that is to be poured out now and manifested is the Spirit without measure and it is the necessary equipment that the endtime Church will use to close the last days by discipling the nations (Mt.24.14).

There are three important attributes that will characterize the people who will carry this last days anointing: righteousness, purity and power.

God in His wisdom has caused this to be so because He knows what humanity is yearning for, even though they may not be able to define it themselves:

Isaiah 25:9 KJV: And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this [is] our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this [is] the LORD; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.

Referring to the endtime Church and the Feast of Tabernacles in typology, the scripture says:

Romans 8:19 KJV: For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.

There have been moves of God before this time, such as the great revival that happened on the day of Pentecost and these visitations have occurred all through the ages: the centuries and the millennia, but particularly, in the last five centuries: The Reformation in Germany, The Wesley Revival in England, The Revival Awakening in America through John Edwards, George Whitfield, Dwight L. Moody and Charles G. Finney, and then the outpouring of Pentecost at the turn of the last century in Topeka, Kansas and Asuza Street in Los Angeles California.

Consequent to all of these moves, something would always go wrong! The move would come with a great outpouring, then it would recede because these three things; righteousness, purity and power, were not preserved in many of the recipient vessels of the revivals!

Why and what will make the world say, “We have waited?” What are they waiting for?

The truth of the matter is that the world is waiting to see some manifestation of the divine, even though they don’t even understand or know exactly what they are waiting for. Just as it is was then, so is it now at this time of God’s last move on the earth. The earth is waiting for that potent mixture of righteousness, purity and power that will distinguish the present-day move of God! We have seen men of God manifest power but no purity. We have also seen the gifts of the Spirit in manifestation, but not sufficient righteousness. This conundrum is typified by the life of Samson (Jdg.13-18).

The lack of righteousness and purity in corrupted vessels upon which the anointing was poured out in past revivals has made men skeptical. A human vessel that is manifesting the glory and the power of God, but lacking in purity and righteousness will make people skeptical and ask the question, “Is this move of God, or, is this of the devil?” even though the manifestation may actually be divine!

It is the combination of righteousness, purity and power that will make the Church to become attractive to a skeptical world.

The scripture says in:

Isaiah 60:1-2 KJV: Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee. (2) For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee. (3) And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising.

The whole world knows that there is “gross darkness” upon the earth; this is the reality as we speak! An outstanding example of such gross darkness is that the Indian Government has recently legalized homosexuality in a very conservative country! It used to be a crime, but homosexuality is now legal and celebrated in one of the most populous and conservative nations in the world!

For the world to be attracted and motivated to come into the Church, they must see light, righteousness, purity, and power. That is what will attract them, and they will say to one another; ‘Come! Come, let us go up to house of God!’

Isaiah 2:2-3 KJV: And it shall come to pass in the last days, [that] the mountain of the LORD’S house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.  And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.

The preceeding scriptures are talking about the Church that grows into perfection: the Zion Church that is also called the house of God.

The Holy Spirit will help the perfect, Zion Church to attain and maintain righteousness, purity, and power so she can spearhead the company of people that God will use to attract and disciple the nations for the Lord.

Isaiah 52:1 KJV: Awake, awake; put on thy strength, O Zion; put on thy beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city: for henceforth there shall no more come into thee the uncircumcised and the unclean.

Psalm 50:2 KJV: Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God hath shined.

The world will be amazed at the beauty of God manifested in and through His glorious, perfect, Zion Church. We all should aspire to become one of the vessels of His glory!
